SUMMARY

Cromlix is set in 34 acres of secluded woodlands and garden grounds, with its own chapel and house loch. The tennis courts are the one sign that Cromlix House is owned by the great British tennis champion, Andy Murray and are fittingly resplendent in the world famous Wimbledon’s purple livery.

Elegantly re-designed by Paris-based designer Kathleen Fraser to showcase much of the house’s original heritage, Cromlix interiors, feature muted modern shades of stone, grey-green and duck- egg blue with highlights of red, silver and gold. Luxurious textured soft furnishings are mixed with specially sourced Scottish antiques, open fireplaces and state-of-the-art technology.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation comprises of five suites and ten bedrooms, reception hall, two drawing rooms, conservatory, dining room, snooker and meeting rooms plus there is a also a one bedroom gate lodge suite.
Each room has been personally named by Andy after his Scottish heroes, including Sean Connery and Sir Alex Ferguson. Judy Murray, has reportedly stayed in all of the bedrooms to find her favourite, which turns out to be one of the smallest named, Mackintosh. The lavish Bowes-Lyon suite with its huge bay window and stunning freestanding feature bath is handpainted in silver, a pure dream for a honeymoon couple.

All Bedrooms are finished in high-end luxury, from luxurious Peter Reed 400 thread count Egyptian cotton bed linen to hand-painted free-standing baths in which to pamper and soak in Cromlix’s bespoke range of sumptuous Arran Aromatics toiletries namely Cromlix's bespoke bergamot and ginger fragrance. 32 inch televisions all disguised as mirrors, personal safe, i-pod docking stations, radio, free internet access and DVD player available upon request. Guest confectionary is supplied by local chocolatiers, Cocoa Mountain.

The lounge bar delivers a huge wow-factor, designed by Edinburgh designer Ian Smith, its pale blue wash walls feature gold leaf murals of blossom boughs, birds and animals to re-create oriental chinoiserie.

Food is classical French, all ingredients are locally-sourced and the a la carte, lounge and bar menus have been devised by the legendary French chef Albert Roux. The 35-cover Chez Roux restaurant, allows you to watch the chefs at work in the large open-plan finishing kitchen under the watchful eye of executive head chef Darin Campbell.

From either Edinburgh or Glasgow the motorways merge onto the M9 heading for Stirling/Perth, it bypasses Stirling and Dunblane (A9 heading for Perth).
Take the turn-off signposted Dunblane/Kinbuck on the B8033.
Turn right at the junction for Kinbuck. Follow the road through the village, continue over the bridge, our entrance gates are 100 yards on the left.
