All guests will be warmly welcomed to a truly five star experience like no other in this unique exclusive use property.

The elegant accommodation is spread over five floors, all connected via two spiral staircases. The first staircase leads you to the third floor, whereas the second takes you to the very top of the tower and out onto the battlements, to take in the utterly breath-taking views of the Lammermuir Hills and across the Firth of Forth to Fife beyond.

The castle has had many distinguished visitors in its long illustrious history, among them being King James VI of Scotland (son of Mary Queen of Scots and Lord Darnley) who took refuge there as he fled from the rebel army in Fife across Firth of Forth due to its afforded panoramic views.

Today, peace reigns and a small, dedicated team of staff will be on hand to guide, advise and facilitate your every requirement. You can be assured that you will want for nothing during your stay making the castle your very own.

A log fire can normally be found crackling away in the hearth of the eight foot high fireplace which takes centre stage in the Great Hall, where sumptuous sofas allow you to relax and soak in the wealth of period charm and history.

The library is situated next door, a cosy snug with flat screen TV and your own private bar.

Between the first and second floors is the Study, complete with computer and internet access plus conference call facilities. The study can also be used as a single bedroom if required, and has beautiful views down to the Laich.

The delightful atmospheric vaulted dining room where you will dine and be served fine locally sourced produce on the towers finest bone china dinner service, crystal glasses and lit by candle-light will make for a truly memorable dinner party experience.
The kitchen is just off the dining room and is there at guests' disposal, should they wish to use it.

To the west of the main tower is a separate entrance where guests can store golfing equipment, as well as walking shoes and out-door clothing. Shooting parties can arrange for a gun table to be erected here.

All of the exquisite individual six bedrooms offer en-suite or private bathrooms, the finest furnishings, highest quality bed linen plus a complimentary drinks tray, luxury toiletries, bath robes and a hair dryer.
All bedrooms are also fully equipped with satellite television and DVD player, Wi-Fi internet access and direct-dial telephone facilities.
