The House of Turin a luxurious, five star, exclusive use country mansion set in twenty acres’ which boasts both opulence inside and majestic vistas outside. The choice is yours, make it your own and self-cater or sit back, relax and enjoy full catering service during your stay.

Steeped in history the original house was built in 1659 but painstakingly relocated stone by stone from the loch side in 1907 to its current site and today makes Turin an elegant period setting, perfect for both intimate and large-scale events.

Roaring fires, four-poster suites, warming Aga stove, not to mention a private swimming pool with Jacuzzi - every minute detail has been lovingly chosen by the owners to the highest standards, ensuring your stay will be a memorable occasion.

Sleeping up to twenty guests, the house is an elegant mix of traditional and modern décor whilst remaining close to its Scottish roots each with views of the gardens and beyond to the Angus Glens.

The first floor offers eight large double bedrooms (three being four-poster suites) fitted with Clive Christian furniture and all bedecked in fine linens and fluffy duvets and pillows to ensure a blissful night’s sleep.

There are six bathrooms, including the opulent master bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and stunning fittings, not to mention the super king Spa bathroom where you can arrange and book a private massage.
The signature mini bathroom with gorgeous mini claw foot bath is a conversation stopper!

The second floor is perfect for those who prefer a little more privacy and has two bedrooms – one being a twin bed room, the other double family suite.

An additional single bedroom on the ground floor makes for a wheelchair access room.

Ground floor accommodation comprises: large entrance hall, lounge, fine dining room, library, music room, conservatory, games room, whisky and wine rooms plus bar room. There is more than enough space to relax and find your favourite hideaway.


Perfectly located as a base for a golfing vacation with no less than 118 golf courses to challenge all, including some of the most iconic courses namely Carnoustie a mere 20 minutes’ drive which will be playing host to the 2018 Open Golf championship.

Both St Andrews and Trump International are just over an hour’s drive.
Helicopter transfers can be made available from the lawns to all destinations and airports.

Situated in the rich fertile valley of Strathmore, only 12 miles from the House of Turin a visit not to be missed is to Glamis, one of the most beautiful castles in Scotland, famed as being the childhood home of the late HRH Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother and birthplace of HRH Princess Margaret.
It is also famously known as the setting for Shakespeare's play 'Macbeth'.

Experience wonderful walks through the glens on your doorstep or just a short drive away is Lunan Bay Beach with its rugged cliffs and crashing waves, just the most perfect beach for a long walk under a big sky!

Abundant fishing and shooting options for Stag and Grouse from nearby estates, Clay Pigeon shooting, Land Rover safaris, Mountain biking, whisky tasting, cookery lessons and lots more can easily be prearranged for your visit.

With its secluded location set within twenty acres, making it an exceptional venue for confidential meetings away from busy office schedules, perfect for both intimate and large-scale corporate events.
House of Turin can accommodate up to 110 delegates, while the wood-panelled dining room can be transformed to create a more intimate conference space during the day to a sophisticated venue for dinner in the evening.

For a less formal gathering the glass-covered courtyard can seat up to forty guests, ideal for a post conference-networking event or a hog roast whatever the weather.
Champagne receptions and lunches may also be taken in the conservatory.
